Canyon Suykutambo as new touristic destiny in Cusco

Canyon Suykutambo will be the new destination that seeks to promote the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Cusco (Dircetur), this according to information provided by Nieves Bardales, head of the area of tourism development.

This place is also known as "Three guns" is located in the province of Espinar, rock formations that are seen are up to 80 meters, these in turn form canyons which pass the Cerritambo, Cayumani and Apurimac rivers.

This new destination would be aimed at people or travelers who like adventure since there can enjoy activities such as canoeing, kayaking, abseiling, rock climbing, motocross, horseback riding, paragliding, trekking, and more.

 

The Three Canyons of Suykutambo are located about 241 kilometers by road from the city of Cusco. It belongs to the province of Espinar, between the districts of Coporaque and Saykutambo. Geographically it is located in a volcanic area crossed by rivers. It is 3 thousand meters above sea level.
