The trip starts at 05:00 hrs, then your transfer will pick you up from your accommodation to travel around valleys, mountains, towns as Izuchaca and Limatambo, also you will stop into the archaeological places of Killarumiyoc and Tarawasi before you will arrive to Mollepata town. Place where its refuge the Umantay trek and lake.
Into Mollepata town , you’ll rest a little bit to take your breakfast and enjoy of a delicious one before you start to take the route by bus to Soraypampa. Place where you start the trek to Umantay Lake around two hours of treeking. When you will arrive to Umantay Lake you will connect with mother earth and try to live the experience of the ancient people or Qeshuas (Incas), ‘cause this place was sacred and most knowing as soul and mind purification center, also Umantay means “This is the head” and that’s why many people wants to take a shower and other wants to swin across these spiritual waters to purify their souls. After you enjoy this place, you will descend to take the bus and return to Cusco, in a meantime, you will take the delicious lunch. Where you will see the thunderin Salkantay snowcapped mountain (6271 m.)
