Recomendations to travel to Biosphere of Manu

All visitors are advised to weigh:

  • Appropriate clothing: long-sleeved shirts, rain poncho. Consider visiting the area (high Andean area and / or Amazon) and season (dry or rainy).
  • Insect repellent.
  • Sunscreen.
  • Soap and shampoo preferably biodegradable or friendly to the environment.
  • First aid kit: stomach pain pills, head, general inflammation, small and large non-medicated bandages and ointments.
  • Safety kit: whistle, flashlight with spare batteries.
  • Rubber boots.
  • Shoes hiking field.
  • Lightweight shoes or sandals.
  • Cap or hat.
  • Water bottle.
  • Camera.
  • Binoculars.

Moisture can affect the performance of computers. It is advisable to keep them in sealed plastic bags to prevent spoilage.
