Peru promoted tourism and archaeological destinations in U.K. operators

Peru’s export and tourism promotion board Promperu will carry out the event "Door to Door-London" from September 9 to 12 in London, the United Kingdom and North Ireland to promote Peruvian tourist attractions among U.K tour operators.

How book Cusco? Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu

According to PromPeru, the three-day event aims to attract the main tour operators in the United Kingdom and provide them with specialized and updated information about Peru’s tourist destinations, allowing them to sell the several tourist products and circuits of Peru in an optimal way.

At the same time, the event creates the opportunity to get information from travel professionals about their strategies and prospects for marketing, sales force, network marketing, and identify and define business opportunities.

For this reason, PromPeru has authorized the trip of its high-level official, Martha Elisabeth Quezada to take part in this event.

Peru hopes to attract over 3.6 million foreign visitors by-year end. In 2013,  overseas tourists flocking to the country amounted to 3.16 million, representing a top-line growth of 11.2 percent from the figure recorded in 2012.
