City Tour Cusco

Cusco - Catedral - Qoricancha - Sacsayhuaman - Quenqo - Puca Pucara - Tambomachay

We begin the tour at 1.30 after picked up from your hotel, to know the beautiful historic center of Cuzco and nearby archeological sites, starting with:

• Cathedral: A religious colonial gem, with impressive paintings of great artistic value. Koricancha: The gold room which was one of the most revered Inca temples where worship surrendered to the maximum Inca god Inti (Sun).
• Sacsayhuaman: Inca ceremonial fortress, the largest architectural work that made the Incas during its heyday. From the fortress seen a panoramic view of the surroundings, including the city of Cusco.
• Qenqo: Very close Saqsayhuaman is Kenko, was a ceremonial center, which is worth visiting for its underground galleries and its amphitheater semicircular, is considered a sacred place where ceremonies in honor of the Sun, Moon and stars.
• Puca Pucara: This fortress is composed of large walls, terraces and staircases and was part of the defensive team in particular Cusco and the Inca Empire in general (view from the bus for a few minutes).
• Tambomachay: This is an archaeological site was dedicated to the worship of water and the head of the Inca empire could rest. It consists of a series of aqueduct, canals and several waterfalls that run through the rocks.
